Past Projects

  • Cedar Point Educational Trip:An educational trip to Cedar Point during the season with the Corporate Vice President of Safety and Engineering, Monty Jasper. We would learn applications of engineering in the theme park industry. This would take place during the summer quarter before classes start up in mid September of 2007. This would allow us to reap the benefits of the insider’s perspective on how things are looked at from the engineering and business standpoint. A close one-on-one connection will allow them to become partners of the group in a long term relationship.
  • IAAPA Trip:Attend the IAAPA convention in Orlando, Florida in November of 2007. This is a large event for the theme park industry and we would showcase our current design project there. Several hundred companies will see our group in action and notice the work and innovation that we have been working on for the past 8 months. Creating a national reputation in the industry for our group as being a pioneer will be invaluable to the organization. This will be a big push for the group to be able to have an outstanding reputation in the industry.
